Gentle Yoga & Qigong IN PERSON CLASS Dates of class: 28th February 7th March 14th March 21st March 28th March 4th April A class perfect for those with a fledgling movement practice or simply wishing for soft, nurturing movements, we explore very gentle yoga and qigong together. In this class we focus on small, soft yoga movements. If you are feeling immobile, this is the class for you. We will explore gentle joint mobility and soft yoga stretches to ease and release bodily aches and pains. The movements will be holistic and intuitive to what each participant needs and is experiencing. There will also be a guided relaxation and meditation at the end of every session. Qi gong is an energy-based practice which explores slow, circular movements helping improve the flow of 'qi' (energy) through the body’s organs, meridians and cells. Complimentary to this, Yoga asana movements, places more focus on extensions of the spine, body and limbs. Working to tone, lengthen and strengthen muscles. When we weave qigong into an asana practice, the flow of energy (prana) / qi, can be significantly increased, bringing greater feeling of health and efficiency to the body. The interwoven practice of yoga and qigong offers creative and mindful exploration.
