Held in one of the most exclusive retreat venues in Morocco, spending 7 nights on this retreat in this stunning facility will lift your energy, spirit and soul while deepening your connection to your practice. The Morocco retreat has a mix of local culture and discovery, intermingled with our ancient yoga, qigong and meditation practices. The ethos of the retreat is woven around much time and space for you to enjoy what you need. Whether that’s vast amounts of rest and nurturing, or for those who like to adventure, sightseeing trips can be arranged to awaken your senses. Everyone who has joined this retreat over the years tells a tale of beauty and connection to not only each other but to Morocco and many return year after year.

In view of the Atlas Mountains
Our 7 nights is spent 30 km south of Marrakech near the beautiful Ourika Valley. Retreating in a luxurious private residence nestled within a 20 acre estate with olive grove, walled gardens and spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. Our retreat is beyond 5 star, yet homely. The grounds and gardens are designed by renowned French landscape designers Eric Ossart and Arnaud Maurières who blend subtle plantations of fragrant flowers and sculptural cacti with local crops. The interiors are a combination of Morocco and french inspiration that have been designed with much love which offers plenty art through vintage and contemporary Moroccan flare. This retreat will gift you much time for rest and recuperation, as well as sightseeing if you wish to discover more of what Morocco has to offer.
















The retreat centre
The main house and villas are vast. All stunningly furnished and decorated by Themes & Variations, the interiors are a combination of vintage and contemporary with a Moroccan flavour.
For our comfort and enjoyment, we have an indoor and outside dining room, spa, television / reading room, a traditional hammam with relaxation room, a massage room, air conditioning and central heating is throughout all buildings. A billiard room with a 3/4 size english table, wifi throughout the property and pool house. Sonos music system throughout the house and pool house. A huge fully equipped yoga studio, clay tennis court, an exceptional stone walled 18m x 18m walk-in heated pool with pool house and changing rooms. Pétanque Pitch, two donkeys, 2 cats and 1 dog, as well as extensive lovingly kept gardens with the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains which you are free to meander around. All held and loving cared for by myself and a team of 12, including a manager, a butler, a cook and 3 chambermaids, a head groundsman, 4 gardeners and a night watchman.

All bedrooms are absolutely stunning and each have an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower plus an outdoor shower on. Each room is decorated with 5 star quality linen, original art and floor to ceiling windows and patio doors offering art inspired views of the retreat gardens. Each room is surrounded by its own private terrace with sun beds / patio chairs and all rooms have air con and wifi, large wardrobes, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner and soap. All towels, dressing robes, slippers, hairdryers and pool towels are supplied in the rooms for your stay and you have wonderful maids who will make up your bed/ clean your room each day.

Meals
Food is passion
Three meals a day are included in your retreat.
The cooking is a delicious vegetarian and vegan Moroccan / French fusion.
The retreat’s own gardeners grow the vegetables, fruit and olive oil which are used extensively in the meals and traditional bread is baked in an outdoor wood fired oven.
Most dietary requirements can be taken into consideration.
Beautifully, meals are served in a variety of locations around the retreat from the breakfast room, the poolside and special outdoor evening dining space as an offering to help you relax and enjoy the views of the gardens and Atlas Mountains.

Freshly prepared, breakfast choice of dishes and spreads, fruit, eggs, Moroccan pancakes.

Freshly prepared, elaborate choice of dishes, salads, quiches

Three course dinner each night of freshly prepared easily digestible soup, a main dish, sides/salads and dessert.
Afternoon refreshment
Dried fruit & nuts, as well as mint tea or refreshing homemade cool-aide available each day by the pool.
Alcohol – beer, wine and spirit list is available with your evening meal (at additional costs)

The yoga shala & practices
The daily practices are held in a stunning, glass fronted yoga studio
with a view of the gardens and Atlas mountains.
The studio is fully equipped with yoga bricks, blocks, bolsters and mats
as well as a relaxation patio, changing rooms and shower for after practice.
There will be two yoga practices daily exploring yoga, qigong,
meditation, pranayama, yoga nidra and plenty of inner reflection.
We will also enjoy a sound bath during our stay.
Morning sessions
An exploration of inner reflections and pranayama practices,
before moving through a progressive wake up yoga flow,
blending traditional yoga postures and contemporary movement,
the morning practice journey’s towards guided relaxation and
meditation.
Afternoon sessions
A mellow, gentle and nurturing practice, which delves into the
softening world of qigong fused with slow, relaxing asana,
yoga nidra, pranayama and meditation.
During the day
This time will be free for you to relax in the tranquil surroundings
of our fantastic retreat house, perhaps indulging in a hammam and massage, enjoying the tennis courts, gardens, boules, swimming or for those who like adventure, excursions can be arranged visiting local sites and experiencing Moroccan life.

Authentic Berber Market
A very traditional berber market. If you would like to see the real side of Morocco and a market environment, the berber market will offer you that opportunity.
Walking in the Atlas mountains with a guide and lunch
A full day’s excursion. A walk in the mountains, at some points of the walk you maybe using your hands to help you up the hills. The lunch is often by the river and lunch is not included in your stay for this excursion.
Gentle walk into the next village
A gentle walk visiting a few local sellers who sell rugs and pottery.

Was once the largest Islamic school in North Africa and had up to 900 students at its peak.
Saadian Tombs in Marrakech
This is the burial ground and legacy of the reign of the sixth and most renowned Sultan of the Saadi Dynasty, El Mansour.

Insurance
It is a condition of your booking, that you take out travel insurance to
cover any cancellations, health, pandemics, walking / extra excursions and other eventualities.

The retreat is Saturday to Saturday
Check-in time is on Saturday after 2pm.
Check-out is on Saturday at 11am
Flights
You will be flying into Marrakech Menara airport (RAK).
Ryanair runs a route from both Luton (LTN) and Stansted (STN)
EasyJet and British Airways both fly from London Gatwick (LGW), Manchester or Bristol (BRS) to Menara is with EasyJet.
The average flight time from London to Marrakech is 3 hours and 35 minutes. You must have a valid passport with at least one blank page.
Visas are not required for visits lasting less than 90 days.
Transfers
From Marrakech Menara airport to the retreat is around 40km
Transfers are arranged for you to and from the airport in Morocco.
The transfer cost is not included in the retreat price.
I will contact you once everyone is booked on for you to share transfers / costs with those on the same flight.
All transfer payments will be paid in Euros at the time of the stay in Morocco.
Transfer cost around €40 per car, one way (approx 10-15€ each) depending on how many people per sharing a transfer car.
