Beginner's Progression Yoga 10 week course Class dates: 15th April 22nd April 29th April 6th May 13th May 20th May 10th Jun 17th Jun 24th Jun 1st Jul No class on 27th May & 3rd June Beginner’s Progression is perfect for those who are new to yoga, those continuing their early yoga journey, or anyone in need of a ‘refresher’ course. If you have some yoga experience, whether you've been practicing through YouTube, online classes, dipped in an out of practice, or looking for a slower-paced learning based yoga class and would like to deepen your understanding of yoga, then Beginner’s Progression could be the perfect fit. Throughout the course we will continue learning yoga postures (asanas), continuing to be guided through the anatomy of yoga postures, sequencing, and healthy individual alignment, while adding in more attention to exploring pranayama (breathing practices) in more depth. Learning how the breath supports and enhances each posture and how to breathe effectively and naturally within the practice. Alongside this, you will be introduced to the foundations of meditation and mindfulness, helping you develop greater awareness both on and off the mat. This course is taught at a pace that allows you to learn thoroughly, step by step, with clear explanations and attention to key points in the practice. Each class also includes elements of relaxation, meditation, and mindful awareness, supporting both physical wellbeing and a calm, focused mind. Missed a class from the course? You’re warmly invited to join a Sunday Slow Yoga Flow (online), Wednesday Yoga Slowly (Hatfield), or Thursday Yoga Flow (St Albans) free of charge to catch up.
