Yoga Slowly & Meditation Howe Dell School, The Runway, Hatfield AL10 9AH Autumn Term 6 week course A sanctuary of slowness in the heart of autumn Dates for the course as follows: 17th Sept 24th Sept 1st Oct 8th Oct 15th Oct 22th Oct Step away from the noise and demands of the outside world and into a space where you relax. Yoga Slowly & Meditation is your invitation to pause, breathe, and move with presence. Each class blends gentle, intentional movement with rest and stillness. The slow sequences invite you to explore your body with curiosity rather than urgency—unraveling tension, awakening strength, and creating relaxation from the inside out. We move not to chase a pose, but to feel the movement. To listen. To nourish. Why move slowly? Because in slowness we remember that the body is not a machine to be pushed, but a home to be listened to. We remember that presence is far more powerful than perfection and how it feels to release tension. Moving slowly isn’t about doing less—it’s about moving mindfully. It allows us to drop into the body, to feel each breath, each stretch, each moment as it unfolds. Slowness creates space: for focus, for awareness, and strength that comes from body & mind. In a world that asks us to move fast, choosing to move slowly is a radical. Relaxation & meditation This is where it all lands. Each class ends with a period of stillness—lying down or seated—where you’re guided into a quieter space. Here, where we process, let go, and relax. Meditation supports not just mental clarity and calm, but a deeper relationship with yourself. What to expect: Slow, mindful movement encourage ease of body and lymphatic flow Warming and mobilising joints.
